12 gauge thick Livewire speaker cable with big Neutric connectors, $30 Blue light special. Against the Lava and Planet Waves ones I actually thought it sounded best. As long as it's thick gauged cable with good connectors I feel no need to spend $80-100 on a 3-5' cable. We also tested a few speaker cables at WGS and actually most liked the Planet Waves cable, and some heard no difference whatsoever. Making your own cable is as good as any of the high-end brands I think.
