hey guys, check out this clip and tell me if you think it is close to demanufacture tone.
after i listened to it on my computer it sounds like too much gain and a bit boomy. but it sounded great through my monitors, my ears are shot.

I love "Remanufacture" and "Obsolete". You got too much gain on there, I think you can get closer if you back off the gain on the amp and run a boost. I saw FF live on the "Obsolete" tour, Dino's sound wasn't as huge as their studio record, so a lot has to do with the mixing and double tracking as well, hard to duplicate, but running 2 amps will get you there as well.

its pretty close , maybe a touch to much gain and bottom end
there is some pretty damn nasty noise as well in the background

also his main amp was stolen on the obsolete tour so it was probably a line 6 he was using thats why it didn't sound great hahah

is this a tone match or ozone IR on the axe-fx?

it is a tone match on the axe2. the noise is my laptop sitting on top of the axefx and me on top of both.
im kind of leaning in the direction that the secret weapon for demanufacture was a maximizer or an enhancer/exciter of some sort added later.
This sounds great through my monitors and not as close on my other speakers.
I wish fear factory had done the guitar hero/rock band thing so i could find some guitar tracks.lol.

find "¡Resistancia!" , its a bonus song off demanufacture with probably the best isolated guitar on that whole album in the intro (body hammer has synth under it)
colin richardson would have alot to do with the guitar sound as well
