I don’t give a shit about Don Lemon. I don’t know shit about him and I’ve never heard him talk - willful ignorance. If he broke laws, arresting him is justified. But, if people applaud an arrest simply because they don’t like him, what precedence does that set? The pendulum will swing the other way. It always does. Will people be as supportive for arrests and harassment against those on their side of the aisle/mindset? Again, I’m not defending him. Couldn’t care less. But you have to consider the reactions if the roles were reversed. I’m sitting here in middle hating a shit ton of people and their agendas on both sides.
What you’re saying is absolutely true, but this didn’t just start, it’s gone on for over a decade. We’ve already seen the roles reversed. It’s possible that what you’re seeing could easily be viewed as karma by a lot of us.
Yes, that could be said for either side, but honestly there was a time when it wasn’t that bad until Trump was elected the first time and people who voted for him were constantly called the most vile things on the planet.
