This Hard Tail model from the first cut of '10 for 15" is pretty sweet IMO with Jumbo frets.

Some dealers like Sweetwater might still have some coming in and "full compass" says they have one available.

I can totaly hang with the 70's headstock and the Hard Tail for sure... Throw a mini humbucker in the bridge and it is on...

I'm a big fan of the hard-tail. And I agree with adding the hum as well.

I ordered a hard tail from Fender in 1999 for $799 and have had it ever since, increditble guitar... Guitars like this don't get much love around here though, has to cost of 4k to get on the love radar...
