Anyone have any experience with this amp? I'm thinking about getting it or a Fender Princeton Reverb RI.

Funny, I just got one last night, in Limited Edition Burgundy

Thoughts so far:

- It's really small
- Build quality seems average; the back panels are about as thick as cardboard
- The Vibrato click makes the effect totally unusable for me, especially for recording
- With the footswitch unplugged, channel 2 has reverb active and vibrato bypassed, which eliminates the use of a footswitch for me (good thing); use normal channel for no reverb
- I've tried many high gain channel-switchers that have good cleans, but Fender still can't be touched
- Have yet to try pedals in front (no loop), but hoping some type of fuzz can sound good there

Short term verdict: worth it if your setup lacks good cleans

Check out the new fender silver faces too, they get a little better reviews than the drri. http://www.fender.com/series/vintage-mo ... verb-120v/

I had a drri, solid amp. I wish I would have clipped the bright cap on the vibrato channel, as it made it picky with dirt pedals. I played a friends original 67 dr that blew the drri.

I use one all the time. GREAT amp. The cleans are incredible.

Hit it with any good dirt pedal. I use a Bogner Red, Fulldrive II, Keeley Baked TS-9 and it sounds killer. Delay, chorus, wah once in a while.

Never had a problem with it sounding too bright. It's a big fat clean tone and with the Bogner it's a killer rock amp.

It's really all I would ever need. I do like the Twin a little better for the massive headroom. The Twins rule.

Man that's pretty. Never seen that version.
Congrats.

I'm gassing hardcore for this amp...been between this and a super sonic 22 for a while now...need to get in and just crank the two side by side.

Just curious where you are running the volume and which channel you are using? One thing I love about the bigger fenders is the switch for the bright cap....

Thanks guys. Anyone have experience with the Princeton Reverb RI?

Heard of quality control issues
Rattling at higher volumes and other stuff
