I've been thinking about dropping these into my 90s mim start that I'm upgrading

I have no access to them to try. Thoughts? What are your experiences with these? Should I look elsewhere for a sss upgrade?
 
With a big clean amp they really nail that srv-little wing and yellow Ledbetter type of thing. I love them, current fave single coils, Im thinking of throwing them in the neck and mid on my friedman vintage s. I'm guessing bridge is fine but I need a humbucker there so can't really say...

I also really like the alnico ii pro single coils. Texas is a bit hotter I think.
