I apologize for bringing this here, but the L6 forums have been hit or miss for me the last 2 weeks from several computers.
First off general tone questions....
1) I've been hearing some lead tones A7X's latest album and also another song that escapes me and the 'attack' portion of the lead tone seems to have this almost scratchy type sound to it. I've tried setting up some tones and using pedals in front of the usual style amps in this genre, and I just cant get that specific sound for the attack of the notes. Any ideas? Is it more gain from the pedal and reducing the amp gain? Specific type of pedal, EQ/Frequency settings?

1) I set my stuff up with a preset per song, and use snapshots to change between verse/chorus/lead changes. On presets that have a wah pedal...auto engaged at 97% travel on the toe down side...whenever I step into that preset it comes through as either a mid wah sound or the heel down position sound. I'm not saving it with that pedal position. Am I missing something somewhere else in relation to the pedal settings?
2) We will be adding Rebel Yell back into our list, and I know i've asked this before, but adding a Ray Gun effect....I've used everything from Vibes, delay settings, filter/synth settings.....The best one I had was using a delay when I had my Axe Fx Ultra...not sure how a delay makes a ray gun sound, but it worked. Can someone maybe in the know explain how a delay can be used in that manner? I'd love to recop that sound again for the solos.
