Yeah, this is ridiculous, but I finally feel 100% satisfied with my amp collection. I feel like I have every base I care to have covered, covered. For those keeping track, here is the stable:

Marshall 2204 JMP
Marshall 75' MKII Super Lead
Marshall 2203 JMP (Friedman Kitchen Sink Mod)
Boogie Mark IIC+
Boogie Dual Rectifier Rev. C
Fender Bandmaster (Blackface)
Fender Princeton Reverb II
Matchless HC30
Naylor Duel 100 High Drive

I recently traded my Bogner XTC Classic for the Matchless HC30, and I haven't looked back.

Wow, I don't know if I've ever heard those words uttered before, ever, by anyone. It's a helluva thought...
What does that feel like?

:hys:

you'll be back.

they always come back.

except that one guy with all the butthurt, he never came back.

and the other guy with hate, rage and butthurt, he didn't come back either.

but everyone else did

Cool nice collection! Naylor duel high drive? Is the clean channel still clean and is the drive channel more gainy? The drive channel on my duel 100 has plenty of gain. Its for sale but hopefully other things sell so I can keep it

Killer collection that makes me jealous!

Nice!
Great feeling right? I've decided on Marshalls and an SLO. I need upper mids, and the kind of upper mids that only come from Marshall and Soldano. Sold most everything else except for 3 guitars, 4 cabs and 3 amps and looking for 1 more Marshall, a NMV. All stock, just pedals for boosts.

I'm about there, but still need to thin the herd a little.

Marshall 1987x
Marshall Silver Jub RI
Marshall '79 2203
Marshall '79 2204 clone
Marshall '69 100w clone
Marshall Metro '68 12000 clone
Soldano SLO
Boss Katana 100w
GK 250ML
Roland Cube 30

Yep! To my knowledge, some extra gain is added to the Drive channel. It's pretty high gain.

I don't have a huge collection but I'm pretty satisfied with my current setup and my GAS focus is moving back toward guitars. That being said, there are still a ton of amps I'd like to get my hands on just because   .

Absolutely, upper mids are where its at :).

I am freaking out man!!!!! I only have one amp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although, it is an ss100 and I like it a lot. I do have a handful of guitars though.

I've been satisfied with my amps too since I got my VH4 about a year and a half ago. It isn't cause I love that amp either, I was actually super disappointed with it. It just made me realize that I already really like what I have and chasing what everyone wants has diminishing returns for me. Coincidentally my XTC Classic is one of my favorite amps, right up there with my 93 Pittbull Classic.

When ever I think i'm happy with my amps, I find myself buying more guitars... then back to amps and so on and so on ;)
