First American to play Diezel??????

I heard it was Adam Jones, but that could be very wrong.... ? I am curious as well :)
 
sorry, but the first international to play a diezel was russian ;)
 
Probably somebody from the US, Canada or South America visiting a Frankfurt MusikMesse in the early 90s :D

Yes, it was Adam. I was the first non national act/player to buy a VH4. My VH4 was only a couple of serial numbers away from Adam's VH4. Back in 97' Billy Howerdel hooked me up with Uwe at Salwender Intl.. Billy knew alot about the VH4, no one else I spoke with had ever heard of Diezel back then. I must've called a ton of places looking for a Diezel amp that didn't exist to anyone besides Billy and a very few others.

I used it live and to record an album in late 90's. Great amp with a beautiful blue face. I still have a show we did for radio, it was the first night I had used it. I basically plugged in, turned it on, turned a few knobs and it was there. Great tones.

Someone on this board has it now I believe. Here are some old pics of it, right before I sold it.

Man, that amp sounded fantastic. Wish I had it back. :(
