First guitar was a funky looking solid body Gretch and first amp was a Fender Super Reverb. I've got pictures of both around somewhere, just not digital, yet.

I actually liked it a lot. At first I just went straight in and cranked it but I picked up my T.C. Dist+/OD pedal shortly thereafter and used it (had the yellow DOD pedal just before that) and the amp was great. Added a 4x12 extention cab and I was a local hero. This was about 1980/81.
i have a 570 in that same color! mine is loaded with dimarzios.
my first guitar was a fender acoustic that used to belong to my father. i used to sneak it out of the case from the corner of the living room when i visited him and thats how my whole guitar playing career started. i still have the guitar and to this day ive never owned another acoustic yet.
First guitar was an Applause AE30 acoustic/electric I got for Christmas when I was 13. It was an entry level Ovation and it started my love affair with black guitars. I played the thing like it was an electric. I even played it through my buddy's Marshall Micro Amp that he never used.
My first electric guitar was a red Anatares Iceman copy that I got at a pawn shop for $175. It had the black knobs and the red headstock. The neck was horribly twisted beyond repair, but I didn't know that at 15. I just couldn't figure out why it wouldn't tune properly.
My first amp was a Crate GX15. I would spend hours trying to get it to sound like Billy Joe's Marshall on Dookie.
