Well this is my first partscaster build. I didn't really plan this one, but pieced together some parts I had and the result is quite alright. Thanks to RT members Eric and Dylan for the neck and bridge pickups.
Neck: Vintage tint w/ gloss finish, maple with rosewood, reverse strat headstock, star inlays, 21 frets that look to be standard sized. I bought it from a guy that had listed it in local classifieds, I was more interested in the relic body he had in the parts package. The Fender tuners came already installed. I installed the "Roller" string trees and TUSQ nut myself.
Body: This is a brand new alder MIM Body in candy apple red, stock vintage style tremolo. The pickguard is 3-ply pearloid I got from China
Electronics: Dimarzio Tone Zone bridge, Seymour Duncan Antquity II bridge in middle and Dimarzio Cruiser bridge in neck position. 5-way switch with 3 volume configuration, 500k pot for bridge pickup and 250K for each single coil. This makes the guitar really versatile, going from hot output bridge to vintage single coil, while the Cruiser is a nice cross between a single and humbucking pickup.
