A friend of ours owns a bar and let us rehearse with his full PA before our show next weekend.
That was a fun jam.
Practice starts at 0:58
We play primarily in Drop C. The German amps love it. :D

Setlist:
Stone Temple Pilots - Down
Audioslave - Show Me How To Live
Alice In Chains - Them Bones
Three Days Grace - Just Like You
Seether - Remedy
Aerosmith - Cryin'
Collective Soul - Shine
Chevelle - The Red
Weezer - Say It Ain't So
Bonnie Raitt - I Can't Make You Love Me (Battery dies near the end)
Missing: Foo Fighters - Everlong/Breaking Benjamin - Breath/Saliva - Click Click Boom

It's a little hard to hear from the video, but you can tell how punchy it is and how great it sits in the band mix. What a monstrous sound man. Chords rumble with authority and definition. It must be great fun to gig with that amp.

Whoa, settle down there man. The Herbert is just as kick-ass as the VH4 in my opinion. It's sooo much fun to play. I haven't heard much of the VH2, but if it's as good as the Lil Fockker, then it will be great. I want to find out if the VH2 sounds the same as the VH4 or not. I'm wondering if the VH4 purists might give it the nod.

I've had herbert for years and yeah i probably should hold onto it. In a live setting i love the VH4 though. Both on stage would probably be interesting though.

No, I know what you mean. I like the VH4 a tiny bit more than the Herbert. Dude, before you do anything, you need to give the Hagen a shot.

The Hagen sounds great online but i'm also itching for a Supro and a Marshall JVM.

From what I've heard, the Hagen is an updated VH4. I've had the pleasure of playing one and it is every bit as remarkable as the VH4.

I feel bad for the guy with the H&K :D

Why? I thought the two of them together had such a full sound. Love me some German amps...

I'll take my Triamp any day over a VH4, cos it works for me. But damn, they sound massive together!

I mostly meant it tongue in cheek; They do sound massive together

This.

The Hagen has the same cutting DNA as the VH4 but plays a little easier... A little slicker and greasier. More user friendly if you will (for lack of a better term, albeit I am a VH4 fanboi, I do have to admit to liking the Hagen equally if not a smidge more some days... SOME days!!).

Otherwise - to the OP, the guitar sounded thick, articulate, cut beautifully and I'd say you carried most of the sound of the band. Not a bad thing - singer was great, bassist is solid (from what I could glean), drummer was tight - but the guitar was the most obvious ingredient, and a tasty ingredient it is!!
