I just picked up an original Flashback delay. was messing around with artist toneprints I see you can change the feedback and delay time and pretty much anything. my question, when you download the Artist tone print, does it matter where your knobs are set, is the the default starting point of the tone print where the knobs are when you load it in? I'm kinda confused and if you do start twisting knobs can you get back to the original tone print with out reloading.

No. And when I had a Flashback and then a Flashback X4 TC had a Toneprint editor software you could download and tweak Toneprints from there.

I know that. I'm asking about when you download them is wherevere your knobs set is that default for the tone print. or do you put everything to 12 oclock or turn them off, I don't know thats what I'm asking.

No. To the best of my memory the knob position did not matter.

You got the pedal. Do some science and find out. I wanna know too.

I had the Flashback Mini and the Alter Ego before I ended up with El Capistan. I might buy another Flashback Mini to run on a phrase sampler. I will be touching the knobs for "woah" factor.

On a Flashback Mini, If I recall correctly, the app sees where your knobs are set for Time and Feedback and puts those values into the editor. The other values are implemented from the Tone Print: Hi Cut, Lo Cut, Damping etc. Since there is no knob for these things, they can only be adjusted through the app.
