My guitar just started doing this. When I bend a string it pulls the Floyd block away from the stop and when the bend is release it bangs against the stop. Even if I shake the guitar it causes the block to bang against the stop. Do I need some stronger springs or what? It just started doing this.

Yup, tighten the springs a turn, that should prevent the trem from moving during bends.

Tightened the claw a little and put a rubber band around the block to cushion the block to stop contact.Works for now. Thanks.

Cool. That rubber band won't last too long though! Anything you put between the block and that stop screw will cause tuning issues eventually.

The stop screw is gone on mine. the block is hitting the flat part of the stop.Have to find a replacement.
