Floyd Rose-equipped guitar delivered in fixed position

Is this normal for shipping a Floyd-equipped guitar (haven't owned one since the 80s). I had just a few moments to see where it might be 'fixed' but didn't uncover it right away.

The mounting posts are about flush to the body.... do I just raise those?? It seems like that would throw the action way off, as it's set up perfectly right now.

I'm really afraid that this guitar was designed with a 'fixed' Floyd (or it's going to need some major work to change it)

'Fixed' as in you can't even dive bomb, or just where you can't pull up on the bar? Is there a recessed route in to the body under the Floyd or is the area under the Floyd flush with the rest of the body? If it is a flush-mount situation and the neck is a bolt-on, you can raise the end of the heel with shims, that will allow you room to raise the bridge height, keep your action lower, and get some float out of it. It won't likely give you as much range to pull up as a recessed route, though. What kind of guitar?

it doesn't look like it's routed for pullups, but I can't even divebomb ... I can't pull up underneath the fine tuners, it's locked somehow.

I thought maybe the floyds had some locking mechanism built in for shipping??? Like I said, haven't owned a Floyd guitar since the 80s.

Open the trem cavity, maybe it has a trem setter in there or there is something added to stop the trem block from moving?

Altho' if the floyd studs are screwed down so far that the floyd baseplate is resting on teh body it would be difficult to dive with no back route...the front edge of the plate might actually dig into the guitar near the studs.

That's what the builder just told me (trem setter). The salesman say he knows nothing about Floyds, but the builder insists the guitar didn't ship that way.

That is what's going on. The baseplate is flush with the body. If I raise the studs, I've gotta redo a complete setup... The builder seems really cool, though, I'm sure he'll help me out.
