Considering tone "improvement" is entirely subjective, what would you say changed with the addition of a brass block? I'm considering doing this with my KV2. I'll have to measure when I get home to find out which to order.
I also think it's really funny that the last 3 threads I've contributed in concern things we are both involved in. I told you that the Hydra would make you sell your Cobra. I wish you would have waited until you got it to prove how much the Hydra would bury it.
yeah, great minds man. I think the brass just made it sound just a tad fuller and sustain a bit better. I owned identical Jacksons, just different colors, and there is a difference. Just be sure to re-intonate the guitar when ur done, because you have to remove the saddles. Wish I could have kept cobra for comparison sake but, needed the cash to fund Hydra

I slipped the KAY amp in there but only had it for about a day. I ordered mine yesterday. I was hoping to get one bigger than 32mm, but I'd have to raise my action to get the 37mm in there and that isn't happening.
