Hey,

I emailed Dave about the Marsha and also asked about footswitching a clean channel, the overdriven channel, a 2nd gain setting and mastervolume AND the Sat switch and he said that would work. How is the footswitch going to look like? Cant have just 2 buttons right?! I want to use a Gigrig for channel switching.

Can anyone give me some inpput on this, maybe someone has those options on his Marsha.

Best regards,
Timo

2 switches. one to go between clean and dirty and one to go between the 2 dirties .

Ah okay, I understand. So the second button changes between Dirty Channel with the first gain and MV on first position and second MV and gain + the sat switch on right? But the sat switch is still on the back and can be turned on and off by hand?

I also have to contact Dan from Gigrig again, because I really dont know at the moment if the Gigrig is able to fully replace the footswitch and all its functions. Really hope so though!

Its 2 latching functions thats it very basic. The sat can be turned of on the other channel if you wish.

Is this controlled by Midi or is this switching using something else?

Im still not quiiite clear on the sat-switch. Will it be just on when using the second MV and gain settings or can I still use the sat-switch on the back of the amp all the time? Sorry if I ask over and over again, it just is a lot of money and I want to fully understand my rig!

Edit: I just read that someone is actually able to footswitch between the BE and HBE. I thoughts thats not possible?!

I have never done that. What I was saying is that the sat would only be on the 3rd channel if you want it switching. If not it can be like normal just on or not. This would apply to both dirty channels.

Alright I think I got you. This is hard to decide over the internet. From your own personal experience (what probably says a lot!), which is the better way to go? Alway on or off, or just on when in 3rd channel and off in normal dirt channel?
