Footswitch problem - Rebel 30 Head

Another issue with my Egnater 30 Head! First issue was a faulty tube 1st week of use, (still awaiting my replacement Eganter!) now the Footswitch will not change the channel - the Reverb on/off still works though, and the channel will change with the switch on the front of the amp.

Anyone else with this issue? I am in Newfoundland with no dealer here, is there anyway I can troubleshoot this issue? Bruce? Jeff????

A bad tube does not count as an issue with your amp. In these days with the quality of tubes as bad as they are, a tube going out is a fact of life, not an issue you lay at the feet of the manufacturer. Sorry I'm just saying, not really they're fault.

The footswitch obviously has a bad connection. I would say phone up John and he would send a replacement. I'm sure they will do that for you if you call them, but being you are overseas, it may be a bit of a wait. While you are waiting, why not open up the footswitch and see if something is wrong that you can fix? Most likely it is a very simple connection issue.

I took the cover off the footswitch and could not see any loose connections, and I fiddled with the the jack to see if it was a loose wire, no luck.

Anyhow, I emailed Nate and he responded yesterday, and he is sending me a replacement.

Also,regarding the tube issue, I know Egnater is not responsible for the faulty tubes, but they DID send me TWO replacements for the faulty 12AX7! SWEET! Who does that?

Sorry! I was never good at geography. I thought it was out there by Iceland and Greenland or some other "land" overseas.
