For Renegade users...

...hello to everyone, excuse for my bad bad english but I'm Italian and I play a lot instead of studying English :doh:
So, I want to buy a new renegade 65 head, three good reasons to take it? I need a good two channel (I had thought Marshall 4100 DR, DSL 100 but I think clean channel of renegade is better than jcm900 and dsl etc etc, and lead channel is very similar to marshall hotrodded).

This is trur!!!
But the reverb sounds like garbage can in a tight room times 10 :doh:
 
J42D. Can you record this horrible (garbage x10) reverb sound? We put quite a bit of R&d into this and I think it sounds pretty good. Maybe yours is defective????????
 
D ont get me wrong Bruce I didnt buy it for the Reverb..
I bought it cuz its the only amp made by you I could afford with a warrantee at the time..
I dont even use the reverb the rest of the amp kicks ass!!!
I use it more than my Bogner..
 
I think the renegade's reverb sounds great-long as the channel volume isn't too high with the master volume too low

My question is: the lead channel sounds British or American? I can pull off a good british sound?

I think you can get pretty close to both with use of the tube mix and the EQ. In my opinion it does a pretty good "british" lead channel sound. I think the EQ on the Renegade is the most useable EQ of any guitar tube amp I've ever owned or spent a reasonable amount of time with.
 
Get the renegade. ... I just got a 112 combo and its probably the best amp i have ever played. Been playing for about 10 years. Very versatile and sounds incredible.
 
I totaly agree with DIG, the Eq is very usefull!! Best amp I've played at this price-range!!
