? for SL2 owners.

I almost positive that the SL2 I bought has more gain on tap in the A channel than the one I tried out(thanks Matt)Nothing wrong with it So how would I know what parts were changed,a comparison or a good close up pic.

Were the tube brands/types the same in the SL2 you tried out and the SL2 you bought? Sovtek, EH, JJ, Chinese.....???

That was the first thing I thought so I tried the same tubes and the results weren't near the same.I have a chinese and an EH in mine so I put the sovteks in there and it still has more perceived gain!I know Bruce did some custom mods and I just wonder if I got one,I did by it used.I see if I can get a good pic up and maybe someone can compare.
