With no documentation and only a signature on the headstock, that's absurd. If you really had a Kami prototype that Lynch himself played, wouldn't you at least change the strings I don't know maybe once a year?

I’ve always wanted an ESP Lynch sig but the new current production models are outrageously priced as well. But i’d rather have a vintage Fender strat or tele than this supposed prototype at this price. But I don’t have the money for either ??

I have two of those Proto's.
The story that I got from someone ACTUALLY in the Lynch camp, is that back in the day there was no internet, Paypal, or Ebay......so people would get the address for ESP in Japan, and would order a "George Lynch Kamikaze", using money orders, checks, etc.
All of the ones ordered before the mass produced one's, had a darker shade of brown, and no serial number, because it was considered a custom order, and they only planned on making a few. But popularity grew, and they began to actually produce them as a series, instead of "one off", special order, builds.
If those proto's are worth that much, I would have sold them a long time ago. This seller is either delusional, or sadly mistaken.....and yes, mine are both played and signed by George, too.

Since we are talking about George I will show the neck and strap I got from him several yrs ago. It's the neck off of the Tiger. His Tiger guitar has had various necks over the yrs and he said this one had warped back in the 90's so he decided to get rid of it. Now it plays fine now.

I mean goddamn you think you would have some idea of what you have when you're asking that kind of money or had George make some kind of comment about it's authenticity .
