I put in a pair of EH KT90s in my D60 over the weekend, and they sounded great. Imagine crossing a KT88 with an EL34 and there you have it. Deep tight lows like the 88 with the mids and sweet top end of a 34. Anyway I messaged Fryette support and they said that it's fine to use them, just to bias them within the same range as you would with the 88s. Also, KT 120s are safe as well to put in the VHT/Fryette amps. That's my next experiment...will let you all know.

Sounds awesome....really interested if you can get more bass thump with the tubes ?

That is cool! I'd love to hear clips

Ha ha I wish I had any decent way to put a clip up, all I have is a phone.....but the low end is equal to the 88s but with the mids of a 34. Cool changeup.

JJ 6550 tubes sound great in my d60.....would love to try kt90s ...which brand?

EH KT90s. About 50 per tube, little less. Spendy but very cool changeup. Gonna try 120s next.

I'm gonna try them as well, in my vht 2/90/2. I like El34s more in some amps.should be fun.
