Okay I am looking at these amps and the bones looks to be a very straight forward amp that appeals to me. I want to know if any of you know how long the wait times are and if anyone has one and or has played one for any amount of time? I see no contact number for Fortin amps either so I have no way of askimg these questions except for in this manner. Any help will be appreciated. Hey, I also liked what I have heard from the mod work Mike has and I guess still is doing.

Mike has a website his number is on there or you could also pm him, he is a member here under fortinamps.

I must have missed the number on the website.

 Got it. Thanks bud! I am listening to the clips I can find now. What few times I have gotten a Pm from Fortin he was nice so I hear only good things so far. :) Gainfreak should be along anytime and I know he has a good amount of experience with Fortin amps.

there's atleast one RT member that's got one. one of the guys across the pond was in pretty early.

 Thanks for the heads up. I know about that one. I got a PM a few minutes ago about this Natas. Gonna be a two channel amp. Proto type out in late august I believe? I am looking at Wizards, Fortins, and the new Bogner stuff. Hey a guy has gotta have somewhere to go rather than down.

Wassup Bro!!

Ive played all of Mikes amps and they are all killer. I had the Bones at my condo for a while and I loved it. Its advertised as a stripped down amp but that's a bit misleading because it can do so much. It's a great amp with a killer tone. It can do that straight up plexi type sound to a rodded Marshall type sound but with more clarity and definition. It does that type of stuff and more no problem. The amp also has a very quick attack. great amp IMHO and it sounded killer through just about all my cabs.

I can answer any questions if you want!!

Steve k has a bones being built as we speak. I think there are alot of us going to be getting fortins those amps are the cats meow and so is mike. Natas,Natas,Natas me wants one bad it's killing me ...

 I am torn because I want one of these, one of the wizard modern classics, and any modded cameron that goes up for sale that has the consensus approval as a great sounding amp. those I have several of already though.

I had a chance to demo a wizard modern classic for a week it's a real sweet amp does the lynch thing very well 80's hair metal and has one of the nicest clean channel's you could ever play, but it is very LOUD and it likes to be played LOUD.

It never ends and I feel your pain lol :D

Im having Mike Fortin Mod my 72 100 watt Marshall with the Cali Mod. The 72 has been modded a few times already so It was a no brainer to send it to Mike. Im just mentioning that so that the Marshall police wont shoot me :hys: The Cali mod will satisfy my hot rodded marshall Jones and his mod is one of the best Ive heard and played. Then with time permitted, Mikes going to build me a one off based on my specs and then I'll be buying a NATAS when they are out. I was flipping back and forth between the Bones and NATAS but the NATAS one me over for the sheer insanity of it :hys:

All the Fortin clips sound great. I got to spend some time with a Wizard Modern Classic and was really impressed with it at all volumes. Pretty cool that the rhythm channel is a non master volume and the lead channel is a master volume amp. With lead gain boost pulled it was amazing and did way more than just 80s metal. It got some very good low end that was tight and articulate but still breathed and each note rung through incredibly. It also sounded great at low volumes. Sounded best when it hit 3 or up which is loud but I was impressed at low volumes with this amp. Did not spend a lot of time with the rhythm channel but I understand it to be like a Hiwatt when boost is not engaged and will stay clean up to 10, then with boost engaged on that channel it is AC/DC highway to hell to the tee, pure plexi goodness!

Needless to say based on what I heard I will be getting one of these very soon! The fortins sound incredible as well however so you cannot go wrong with either!

Hollywood you are getting quite a collection there, you need to post some pics and clips soon!!!

Just got an email from Mike last night. My Bones is getting tested and burned in as we speak. Supposed to have some pics tonight. He is hooked up with RJM and got me a Gizmo on the cheap and got all the added functions of it that I had done to the amp wired up to it with jacks and a fantail for switching and what not. Can't wait. My Natas order is in.....get in line!

Yeah I have to agree with you on the wizard. I gave a very brief overlook of the amp it is very tight and it sounded open and could breath and one thing I can say is that you could hear every string and note in a chord very articulate and I really like how it responded when I took a solo it picked up every thing that I did with the pick,it was very sweet in that area. Sorry for the brief discription ttosh I to would like to get one of these someday...H&H

I am going to put my order in for a natas after the first of the year if I can wait that long. I have already talk with Mika about it unless I just can't take it any more from hearing all you guys raving about yours.

Just in from Mike....my Bones getting ready to come on to papa :worship: :inlove:

Very cool!

You must explain in detail about the extra gain and master knobs!!

Extra gain stage added to the base Bones that is switchable and known as the OH SHIT switch and the second master volume which is also switchable and known as the OH F**K switch!
