It was damaged in shipping.

And YES, it is significantly better than the first version. ENGL got it right with this amp IMHO

Does anyone have the depth knob?

The Depth knob is a standard feature that is included in the mod, so it is on every Cali Mod

Mine has depth....no thump.

The Thump switch has two settings, and the position labeled 'Thump' is actually the standard Cali setting. So if you don't have the switch added, your Cali is permanently in 'Thump' mode.

The other setting on the Thump switch tightens up the tone, cuts a little bass and enhances the low mids :)

That's what I thought. If that doesn't give you the balls you need maybe it's time to take up the bass. Unless of course your going for tone not normally associated with Marshall.

Plenty of balls for me, use presence and the depth controls.

Thanks for the info again!

Hmmm...That feature may be something I would be interested in at some point.

Do you know if Mike is willing to add features? I love the amp as it, but having more options is always good in my book.

FWIW...I am getting the best Marshall tone I have ever had for the music I play from this amp.

Outstanding....just plain outstanding.

Awesome man, glad to hear you're having fun with your amp

Give Mike a call and ask him about having the features added, i don't know what his schedule is like so best to just get in touch with him and check.

If you need his number, PM me :)
