For the Fortin custom hand-built fans out there....

Here's one of the two new Overkill videos the band just rolled out. Amp is the Fortin custom hand-built East Coast Thrasher known around here at the studio as the "Black Death." It is similar to a custom NATAS, hand-built by Mike on a marshall chassis which started life as a 1979 JMP 2203. It has a little more marshally mids than a NATAS, but is right in the wheelhouse. Mike Fortin rules! He has been good enough to provide Linsk with the Red Death ECT and the Black Death ECT amps which have been the voice of Overkill and Speed/Kill/Hate in recent years, and now I am fortunate enough to also be sporting the matching, new-born Green Death ECT. These three killer amps are super-tight, brutally percussive, hellish loud, and totally crushing. They are very similar to KillertoneTexas' Evil Pumpkin Hulk amp, as well.

And for StoneAge Custom Cabinets fans out there, it is extra-cool that Linsk is sporting a StoneAge Custom Cabinets t-shirt in the new video LOL!!! Our Fortin ECT amps absolutely roar through our StoneAge cabs. For rear-loaded cabs, their tight, percussive roar and focused punch can't be beat. They match up perfectly to the total, chaotic brutality of Mike's ECT amps. Top notch across the board.

Like it or lump it, the boys are back for another round, and Fortin's handmade custom amps are the voice of it once again LOL!!!

I am glad to see they are still making music. I saw them at a bar called The Attic in GR, MI in the mid to late 90s and like 10 people showed up.
