Hi guys i have actually posted one on VHT or bogner thread and now i have heard of the amazing fortin meat model well i was thinking if how the 6 channel would tone out to be? and how does it handle the low end chugging at high gain modern metal tone? would it be tighter than a Fryette UL ?

hahaha nice one buddy !! does it imply dont leave home without it ?? and much as the drooling simpsons? lol :D

The meathead will cover what you are looking for. If you want extreme deathmetal tone wait fot the Natas. I have a bones on order and for the style I play 80's metal to new metal the bones is perfect. Mike is actually putting a switch on the front panel of my bones so I will be able to get more gain than what it has stock. Who knows if ill even need it?

I'm jumping on the Fortin train myself. I'm sending him a '73 Super Lead for a Hulk mod. wOOt!!!

Mind to ask how much was that for your bones amplifier? was wondering if whats the price going to be like for the Natas head !! but i hope Natas head would sounded primarily based on his Meat model and much heavier, tighter with good amount of gain ?

The big problem is I know I well want both.

LOL you must have been tonnes richer then .. still the Meat model is awesome having watching it from you tube !! but for the fair amount of price is 5 grands USD with 6 channels?? but 3 channel would be good enough with the basic Cleans, Rythem and lead....

My bones is going to be $2900. I have a bunch of added features going in it. I think the Natas is going to be $3200? Im sure it will be cool just not my style.

Damn !! Natas would be at 3.2k? thats kinda right on !!! now my Fortin ambition is building up !!! but still need to hear the amount of insanity setted in for this Natas... if is what its based on the tone from its Meatamp and tweaking which allows good classic rock tone to blues would be a heaven sent !! Thanks buddy lets hope for the most affordable price

That price is not set in stone. Its not based on the Meathead or Bones at all. No classic rock or blues tones in this amp; the other two cover that well, & alot more. This natas amp goes from super clean, skips a few generations, then right to ultra heavy, and then heavier

And then heavier still! :aww: I think about how it will sound and my whole intestinal tract hurts thinking about the amount of bottom end it will have!

I think we will find the brown note yet and proove those mythbuster assholes wrong!
hahaha

I'll let you know what my Meathead sounds like when it's here sometime within the next few months!

Cheers!

Do you think the Natas will do 80's metal or just straight out death metal? I ordered a bones and Mike is putting a switch on it for more gain. I guess it will be like an extra gain stage. I know the bones is heavy enough for me. Im just wondering if the Natas would be up my alley????

80s metal as in thrash, yes. But there's another definition of 80's metal tone that is completely different and this amp is not targeted towards that at all. Just the heavy stuff. Its more about the character of the gain, vs. the amount of it that determines what genre the amp is aimed for.

If its aimed for cookie monster vocals its not for me. If your talking 80's metallica, megadeth, anthrax's first album it would be along my lines.

I think Meathead is still by far my choice of amp but still for the price of 6 channel is an overkill... wonder if Mr Mike Fortin would accept at just three channel from Cleans to classic rock and modern metal of his Meat model having it more affordable for people wearing torn jeans and t shirts in pubs ?
