Was sorting through the files on my Mac and found this old demo of a band I was in, early 2000's. Thought some of you might like it. Marshall riff rock.

From further back in my grunge days circa '95 with all the appropriate angst etc This was my first go at being an engineer in a proper studio as I recorded the band I was in. This was a Les Paul straight into a Marshall Silver Jubilee, no pedals.

Thanks. We did it so quick and dirty in the rehearsal room using a Roland Digital recorder. One of the old VS series. It was fun. Hardly anytime to worry about sounds and just get it done. I like bands that sound a little out of control but the rhythm section, especially drums still come through nice and clear. A lot of bands I like that have a similar sound often have some pretty weak and washed out drums which I wish they would do differently.
