Found one of my 'holy grail' amps!

Congrats Pete! And I think you HAVE to buy that '73 with it being her birthdate. So you pay a little too much. I'm sure some deals you've scored big time. Average it out. You're never going to find one built on her birthday again.

And Scotty, I was born in '66 also. No Super Leads that year and no Les Pauls, but I do own a '66 strat and a '66 p-bass.

Plus one on this, I know it is very easy to commit someone else's money but how cool is that it was built on her birthday??? My wife would buy into that as well

Bah...... I've seen pics of Pete's studio. He could sell a couple of things that he has little attachment to and snag that new sentimental favorite Marshall and no one would even notice anything missing from his arsenal.

Not weird at all. I have 2 1973 Marshall cabs and would like to find a head to match. 73' was a great year to be born. :D

Yes it was. :D

Got my '73 Tobacco Burst LPC. My first LPC and I'll never sell it.

Awesome!!! A friend of mine had one that was made Dec 8, 1972, and I was born on the 4th. I almost bought it when he sold it, but it had a lot of issues so I passed. I'd LOVE to have one made on my birthday though.

Unfortunately, I'm in that bucket of "hard to find and really expensive if you do" years. :(

Very cool find. Always cool finding the ones that mean something personal. Congrads!
