I just put this up. It's my breakdown of the rhythm guitar parts. I think this might be kinda boring if you're not interested that much in this tune, but if you're like me and have always been a bit perplexed by it, I'm pretty sure that you'll enjoy the vid.

I love your lessons.

What gear are you using to get that tone?
 
I always liked playing it a with G Triad (d,g and b string) after the D/A but not fretting the third and playing the open G string instead. Has a real nice open jangly sound to it.
 
That's exactly how I play it too. It's not as easy as a lot of guitarists play it that's for sure. Sounds good!

Hey NaturalBornBoy, thanks bro, I'm glad you're enjoying the lessons. I'm running through an Egnater Renegade with just a bit of amp reverb running through a Marshall 1960b cab. For this tune that's it, no pedals, no effects. I'm using Suhr Aldrich pickups. I do have a Nova System in the loop that I use for delays and some modulation stuff, but mostly just the delays as they are awesome. I also have a BB preamp and a Chandler/Butler Tubedriver, but I hardly use those unless I'm gonna do some heavier stuff. Thanks for watching.
