Free speech?

So, all of a sudden, you can't say anything bad about Charlie Kirk? You can even get fired from your job? Isn't that a violation of free speech? Before I get bashed. I'm neither a Charlie Kirk supporter, nor do I hate the guy. He's just a guy who argued with idiots, IMO. But all of a sudden, there seems to be a crusade against people who bash him. I'm wondering why. I don't understand the folks that celebrate someone getting shot in the neck and bleeding out. But isn't that their right?

i never heard of the guy until last week. Hes getting more publicity than the 2 Trump attempted assassinators
I like how the first guys case got swept under the carpet

I think the saddest part of the “attempted Trump assassination” is that someone actually did die from of it, and not many people really seemed all that upset about it. Most probably wouldn’t even know their name without having to look it up

If that “someone else” is your employer, I think they have the right since it might reflect badly on their company or organization
See, I don't get this either. IMO, my employer has zero say in what I do when I'm not there. Just like the weed testing BS. I don't smoke the stuff anymore, and my job does not test for it, but employers dictating what you do off ours is an invasion on your right as a human. Next thing you know, employers will be dictating what you eat at home and how many beers you drink on the weekend. Complete fucking BS if you ask me. It's bad enough you see the fucking people you work with more than your own family. F WORK.

Freedom & Responsibility.

The libtards posting their celebrations, enjoyment, happiness and "positive vibes and feels" about Kirk's assassination on social media only have themselves to blame.

Their own evil words condemn them.

If someone went on social media, and claimed they were a nazi, and what they believed about nazi doctrine, and what they thought of non-aryans, wishing death upon others, etc., I'd expect their employers would not want to be associated with self-proclaimed nazis either.

These assholes celebrating murder are getting fired. Charlie Kirk debating in open public with college kids gets killed for that. There’s no comparison.

Too many gamma rays dude. :ROFLMAO:

I wonder how the people who feel that someone should get fired for Charlie opinions would feel about getting fired for not using someone’s preferred pronouns

I wonder how many people think you should just fuck off once and for all? Creepy troll fuck.

So far there have been about 100 people who have been fired for Charlie opinions, and literally millions fired over preferred pronouns which are enforced by law in many countries. That seems like a false equivalence.

If someone got fired for celebrating Joe Biden's cancer diagnosis, its not exact but that would be actually comparable

Why is it a false equivalence? It was just a question. If anything your reasoning of “alot of people got fired” therefore people should get fired for it is a good example of the “circular” logic the puds here like to pretend they understand

I'm not making a value judgement on either one, I'm just saying it's disingenuous to compare the two.

lol well yes, you are making a judgement
And no, it’s not disingenuous to compare them. Either answer it or don’t. It’s not hard guy

I have my opinions on them, sure, but I made no value judgements in my first comment. They are just a shitty comparison because one is COMPELLED speech, and one is celebrating violence, and one is much more ubiquitous than the other

You are making value judgements again with this post bro.

Getting fired for compelled speech as a part of an actual law is completely different both in scope and severity than people in places of public trust celebrating literal death and murder - i was unaware that pointing out this is a false equivalence would be controversial.

Nice try though
