Friedman 4x12 speaker cabinet back panel.

Is it possible to buy just a plywood back panel tolexed in black without the jack plate for a straight Friedman 4x12?

I sent an email via the website over the weekend but haven't heard back.
 
Is yours a old one? Yes it might be possible.
 
I bought it used off of a RigTalk member. It's a particle board back. I'm not certain of the age of the cabinet. Attached are pictures of the screw hole positions and tolex type. I guess I should ask, what's the plywood going to sound like on your cab compared to a particle board back?

If a new plywood back would work with this cab, how much would it cost?
 
I know I'm waking this thread from the dead, but how does the particle board back sound compared to the plywood? Please be as objective as possible concerning the material (i.e. try not to allow the cheapness aspect of particle board material influence your response) :)
