Friedman Asm 12 volume lose and distortion

Hi Dave,

Maybe here is the right spot ;-)

I have recently bought a FR Amp Friedman Asm 12 to match with my Fractual AX 8. It worked perfectly for the first two three weeks, then it suddenly lots its volume to half and it sounds distorted badly as well. I tried different volume settings, power cords, cables and rigs, the result is exactly the same: distorted. The volume knob is set to 3 or 4 as usual. While playing, I noticed the red limit indicator is flashing with my pitch.

Any tips will be appreciated?

hi Thanks for the reply. That is definitely not the case. The volume knob on AX 8 is very minimal. I tried plugged in a guitar directly to ASM 12, it still sounds distorted. Did not do anything special before it happened. Someone said it could be limiter issue. Might have to contact Friedman.
