In two parts, find out why Dave designed the ASM12 Active Stage Monitor and how it sounds. No post processing, just room audio recorded via Zoom handheld mic.

Pt.1

Pt.2

I'm curious to know how this compares to the CLR

Amazing unit! I'm actually trying to order one to be honest with you.
I'm dealing with The Guitar Shop in Port Credit Ontario, Canada. Great store. I recently sent a friend their to pick up a Dirty Shirley amp because I know they are a quality dealership. He loves the amp he purchased!

Dealership is outstanding. They tried calling and emailing the Rep but have heard nothing for more than a week or two.

How the heck can I order one of these from my retailer? Super Frustrating!

If I was Dave, as the owner of the company, I would be a bit concerned that a customer can't order a product because the rep isn't letting the dealership know the price and availability.

I really want one of these. I know Friedman is a great company and builds outstanding products.

I was considering that but I don't think they will ship it over to me in Canada. As well, the exchange rate at this point makes it not the best option.

This does not sound right. Let me investigate.

Thanks a bunch, Dave! It is very much appreciated! Really hoping to order as soon as I hear from my retailer.

Just for the record, I ordered my ASM-12 before the videos were made. I had that much trust in the magic of Friedman. :)

Seriously though, great little cab. I can't stop playing thru mine and also can't stop thinking about getting a second one to take full advantage of the stereo capabilities of my Axe-FX II. PBGas, don't fret man. You'll find a way to get one of these. Just keep in mind that they are a new item so people are still probably trying to figure out how to get them in stock, etc. I got lucky with my purchase. I contacted Sweetwater before they stared releasing them in large numbers and was able to get on a contact list. They actually got some in the week I contacted them.

Thx Bud! Will do! No problem on the patience thing only frustrated. Totally going to purchase one for sure! You were very lucky!!!

Tried one (B stock) from Musik Produktiv (Germany) and i found the sound very very dark compared to my RCF nx12 sma or Yamaha DSR112 . So she gone the same day ... May be this one got a problem regarding it s a "B stock" ...

Got mine on order from Sweetwater. The rep told me they have a bunch due in next week.

Great reading about the ASM-12's I want a pair of um now!

Edited: Got them in- the short report is that they sound AMAZING!
