Quick clip of my Friedman BE-100 W/D using a Stratocaster, Rockman Echo, & Analogman Chorus. Going for EJ Type of tone. This amp is just too damn cool...love it!

sounds sweeet...been havin a great time playing mine too, I was a little worried spending that kind of coin for what is a seemingly simple design lacking a lot of features I'm kind of used to (switchable boosts, at least 3 channels, deep controls, twin masters, midi etc etc) but I now understand why I bought this thing, sounds really amazing and the clean is impressive with only 3 position bright switch....what were your settings for this? Clean setting? Brightest-all the way to the right on the switch?

I'm always amazed at the clean tones that come out of that amp. You'd swear Dave hid some 6V6's inside the chassis.

Sounds great! Not a tone I'd expect from the BE-100.

Nice clip man, its cool to hear all the rest the amp is capable of., some good playing helps of course!! Lets hear some more!!!!

Does that amp have an effects loop or are you running them up front? if it has a loop is it the metro zero loss?

Nice tone!

Thx Bro! I run my delay & chorus using the line out that Dave installed in my BE into the various effects into a power amp then out to a wet cab. The metro loop is fine but I personally dislike most effects loops.

I really dig your clips, nicely done.

What speakers are you running in the cab on the right (which I recognize from listening to this clip several times -- one of my favorite BE clips:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehz9ejbjvFQ&feature=channel&list=UL)

Sounds awesome!!!   I have been GASing for a BE-100 for the past few weeks!!! Awesome amp!!!

I'm really on the fence now....Henning or BE-100?

Have you heard the Henning? If so, how do the two compare? I am debating myself, but want to make sure I try the CCV again since I am one of the 2nd run buyers and I do like a heavier tone!!!

There are a few Henning clips on the Henning website...sound pretty good.

The CCV is definitely heavier and less marshally/darker than the BE-100 or the Henning.
Much more low end on tap with the CCV and much tighter too than the BE-100.

I liked the clean tones coming out of the bE-100 a lot. The gain tones are tight but no where near as tight as the CCV.
Personally I found the CCV had very little "give" and was a bit stiff. It's a lot different than the atomica that you have IMO.
Atomica is more Marshally. To me the CCV is a tighter/higher gain version of the XTC with more bottom and a bit more marshall bark on top and with Jose clipping available if desired. It just has a bit of darkness that I didn't like and it was really tight too.

Am super interested to hear the Cherry Bomb clips from the amp show....could be just what I've been looking for.
Probably can't go wrong with the BE or CB.

Thanks!!! I used to own the XTC 101B and maybe the CCV has everthing that lacked in the XTC 101B that I did not like. As stated before, I am more metal than the 80s hair band/hard rock stuff even though all of those guitarist (EVH, Rhoads, Lynch, Takasaki, Jake E. Lee, Sykes, LeTekro, etc) were my major influences. The Cherry Bomb does seem like it could be a top contender with the BE-100 and I would love to check it out one day. I did like Steves original Henning clips that were in the Mod Squad 2010 Shootout and thought it was the best sounding mod version. I really liked the BE-100 when I played it a few times over the past year. The Atomica is still a great amp IMO!!!

Thx!!! The speakers in the right cab(dry) are Scumback M75 & H75 65 watters. The speakers in the left cab(wet) are EVH Celestions.

sounded really nice.
