Friedman BE OD pedal thru a Clean Mesa Dual Recto amp test

Ok....Here is a couple videos of the BE OD running straight in front of my Mesa Dual Rec.
Please forgive if there is not a firework show or Pro playing or recording.
It was done on a Zoom Q3 just for shits and giggles.
Hard to tell from the clips. Makes both videos sound "digitized"?
But they are both the REAL DEAL when playing it. :thumbsup:
I have 2 of the Friedman vids.
Then one of the Mesa Lead channel.
I tried to make on of them in an A/B test.....but the tone is so different I didnt like it. Takes an 'in the room' moment to let your ears adjust. :yes:

Ok.....

first 2 are the Friedman pedal.
Last is the FJA Modded Dual Rec.
Both sound SUPER KILLER when you are rocking it loud at gig level. ;)
Just to add when I recorded these the amps were CRANKED LOUD!!! :yes:





 
Well, it took me a while to get over the lack of fireworks BUT... that pedal sounds pretty damned good! Thanks for posting!

Well there was a couple of test runs with me holding a mixing board with bottle rockets shooting out my ass.
But I do not think it would be appropriate to show them here. :lol: :LOL:
Either how....thanks for checking it out!
I dial it in Metal.....and it is showing me the goods no problem. :thumbsup:
just another flavor/spice to add on my Burrito. ;)

The BE OD sounds pretty good but the last video of just straight up FJA modded Recto sounds really killer in comparison IMO.
 
Fuck it Danno....was the last thing I needed. Got a buddy with a shop, got a deal. Incoming. Should be cool to have with the GP/DI.....modded Marshall cleans on the clean setting, sick tones for the GP on the Deliverance/Pittbull setting.

Thanks for the vids mang.....FJA sounds SICK by the way...no shock there lol. If you're ever in the mood to give that away to a fellow Bearcat you know where to send that shit mothafucka!

Yeah the BE pedal sounds really good in the Mesa.
Sounded good in the Engl. but in the Mesa it kills :rock:

Pedal sounds good! I like it. But straight in the amp wins...but I can see the pedal being a great addition to anyone's arsenal! :rock:

I like the pedal thru this amp quite abit.
It was ok in the engl. but shines in the Mesa.

Yup.....
Full on Jam session last night. I gave all my amps/(pedal) a fair fight. Everything was killer. :rock:
At the end of the night..... :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL:
I was rocking the Modded Mesa. :D
Guess its what just rocks my ears the best.
(Until the Modded Mark III comes back) Then the fight is on!! :thumbsup:
