Speaker noob here, so I scraped up enough pennies to pull the trigger on a brown eye and I love it. I'm currently using it with a Blackstar Series One cab loaded with V30's and I'm pleased with the tone. I notice a lot of folks using the V30/Greenback speaker combo, can anyone throw in their 2 cents on the differences in tone, what they do and don't prefer, and why? (between the mix and straight cab) Also if you're playing live and micing, won't you only be projecting one mic anyway? (one speaker, one mic) Then the mix you hear on stage (if you're listening to just your stage volume not through in-ears) wouldn't be what you're wanting everyone else to hear. (through the PA) I guess I'm wondering if that's what your getting, why the speaker mix?
