Friedman BE100 Rock instrumental Demo

Hello Rigtalk

I wanted to show what the Friedman can do. I used the BE channel only. The RHY on the left is with the SAT on and the RHY on the right is without. As far the lead guitar it's with the SAT on.


I'm going for a different type of demo then what i have seen on the Friedman site or youtube.

Bogner Cab V30 Both Mics on it's own speaker.

Apogee Symphony i/o 24/88 going down to MP3 kills me
Ibanez jem7v
Mix wise i'm going for that 80's type of sound.

nicely done...has some Vai aspects to it...I hope that is a complement....it is meant to be.

I'm a big steve vai frank zappa fan. On top of that I used the Lydian mode which I learned from listening to them.
 
...you could have used a compressor to hold the notes. many die out
 
yep. try the compressor. really weird the notes weren't sustaining like I'm used to hearing from a BE-100. Usually they sustain pretty good and even better with extra gain stage in front and HBE mode!
