Friedman BE50

I really wish there were some demos of this thing. I'm itching to pre-order one but I just can't drop that much money on an amp no one has heard. On paper it sounds great.
 
In the unlikely event that it isnt awesome, Sweetwater does have a generous return policy. However, Im sure it sounds great.
 
It's video will be Sweetwater's not sure how that will sound yet.. next will be ours. Working on it now. Hang on.

Unfortunately Sweetwater can make any good amp sound bad. I’m not sure who’s behind the controls but they really need help. :no:
 
I have one ordered, can't wait. If it that bad , which I kinda doubt, you can return it and get a be100 demo, that's what I'm gonna do.
 
This is my first Friedman , can I expect the amp to be bias correct? I'm a Marshall guy and I know there's always come cold.

Yes. Dave checks all that before it leaves the warehouse.
 
One more question, I play a lot of solos in a two guitar band. My concern would be a solo volume boost. With the options on the 50 from my understanding doesn't have a solo boost. Does the current be 100 boost option a solo boost and is it on the footswitch? Since this is very important to me I may just get the 100 with the boost option. I already like what the ge7 does in the loop for my Marshall, so that really won't be an option for a solo boost for me. Hope some one chimes in on this, thanks

It doesn't have a dedicated solo boost but it does have separate master volumes for the BE and HBE channels. So you could set the HBE channel up to be louder.
 
That would be an option, I was thinking that very thing as long as the footswitch has an option for that. From what I've found the be 100 only has clean to be or hbe depending on how it's set. Thanks for the response
