I am in the market for a new cab. Narrowed it down to these two Friedmans. Whichever I go with, I would like to eventually add a second matching cab.

My amps are: Friedman JJ, Soldano SLO, Randall Satan.

I play high gain metal tuned to C standard. Lots of trem picking and palm muted galloping. My band plays loud. 2 guitars, bass, drums, vox.

My common sense is telling me to go with the 412. Better chance of being able to get it out of my car and back into my house by myself after a gig. More options for swapping speakers. But I am having trouble resisting the allure of pushing air out a pair of those 412/15 cabs.

Anyone here tried both, and able to share experiences? Thank you!

Nothing can match the 412/15 for metal and tight thump. Makes all my amps sound better. But it is huge and heavy, like really big and really heavy. Lol. But yes it does sound bigger than any 412. I play standard down to couple steps down. Sounds incredible with all of them

Yes, I am a bit concerned about the size and weight, haha.

Any chance you were able to compare to the Friedman 412? I have never tried or even seen a Friedman cab in person, but I kind of have an idea of what the GB/v30 mix will sound like. No idea about the Fullback 15s/G12H30s.

Standard Friedman Cab is the best cab I've ever played. Get the matching JJ grill cloth and your done.
