you better sell it than keep fighting the amps nature
what speakers are you using?

Sell it and buy a Friedman Naked! Dark and smooooth.

It must be the way that particular amp is voiced.
My Marsha is not bright at all and thats even with V30's.

you can try mixing the greenbacks with g12t75's
I wasn't a t75 fan, but they were the best match for my ex modded JMP50 (the mod was pretty similar to the Brown Eye tone, maybe more gainy)
I tried rola G12M blackbacks with 55hz cones, mesa v30's and silverbell clones, but the 75's really matched the amps voicing by taming the upper mids and adding a lot of punch
all the others sounded way too bright for that particular amp
I regret not trying to mix them with the blackbacks before selling them
I bet that combination would be perfect
those speakers have opposite voicings and close sensitivity

Treble off should sound like a blanket over it. Anyway there is a switch I can put on the back the is a 6 position high cut switch so you could voice it like you need . Sounds great and is a cool option. Cost is 50.00. Send it out and I will take care of it and also make sure the amp is ok. Sometimes people retube them with all the wrong tubes and it can sound down right bad. Dave

I agree, I have a Marsha and a Splawn modded Plexi which is basically a Pro Mod... The Splawn is way more brighter than the Marsha , and I also use v30s..
