I had one of the stock ARS/JJ EL34's in my Friedman Small Box go microphonic today. I bought some new power tubes and I am taking my amp in tomorrow to get biased. Should the bias adjustment screw be easy for the tech to locate? Is there something he should look for to find it? I know the bias should be set at 32ma.

If you are taking it to a tech, he better damn well be able to find it.

That is what I figure but I am trying to avoid any possible delay in getting my amp back for next weekend.

It will be obvious, only pot located on the board and its even labeled bias...

The one on my BE is even bright blue, cant remember if the SB is the same or not.

Its very obvious. However, you should buy a bias probe and do it yourself. Pays for itself after a few uses.

I plan to get one for sure and do it myself next time. Dave emailed me last night and recommended the Bias Probe. I was just in a time crunch because I need the amp for next weekend.
