Fryette Fatbottom cab with P50Es...whats your head hook up?

may I know how many of you guys here are using Fryette FB cab with P50es for other heads other than Fryettes... if yes kindly name them and kindly describe the blissful tone of it...

heads interests with Fryettes like bogner, friedman or fortin?
 
I just sold a Fryette FB with the p-50e's. Not really my flavor. The p-50e's to me sounded kind lacking in the good stuff, and pushing in the bad stuff (all based in what I like to hear, not really saying its bad stuff at all, just not for me).

In the end, I feel I like rear loaded cabs more. Sound bigger to me, in the sense of being fuller. I was using with it, a Fortin modded Marshall 2203kk.
 
Killed with a framus cobra. Fizzy one fifty as well..
 
I have played quite a few through VHT (same as Fryette ;) ) a 2x12 and 4x12 such as Dual Rec, a bunch of different rack setups, Titan Cerberus (my old one and my new one), 5150, Crate Blue Voodoo 120, and a few others. I have never had a setup I did not like through them. The only other cab I have played that I have liked as much is an Ubercab.
 
the reason why is such that I am kontemplating a bogner shiva.. and am thinking of getting the bogner ubercab as well...much as I like the fryette am thinking if I could toss the heads around with different cab and still have ultimate results.. ? ie fryette 50cl + ubercab and a shiva + FB412 p50es.... one think the FB412 amazes it the sealed back.. front loaded
 
I ditched the p50s for wgs V30s and t75s. Sounds killer with every decent amp I've run through it. I hated the p50s.
 
I'm running a Bogner Twin Jet with a Pittbull Ultralead,the PE-50's weren't my flavor so
I had them rebuilt with hemp cone,same frame etc but now they are hemp and 80 watts.
Now it's my flavor,dark tight with superb lowend. Not woofy sounding anymore.
Also running a Mesa recto cab 280 watts.
Loving it.

Wow, that sounds like quite a mod! I've never heard about rebuilding speakers like that.
