For anyone interested, I emailed Fryette about nameplates for my Deliverance & cab, and here is what I got back.....

Hi Mike. Thank you for your interest in new Fryette name plates. We appreciate
your support.

Name plates are in transit to us & should land any day. I will contact you once

I have both the SigX and D60.
I use the D60 for rhythm and Sig:X for clean and lead

The Sig:X lead channel :inlove:

Yeah, the Sig is a GREAT amp, I'll own another someday, got the chance to pic up the D120, and jumped, sounds MASSIVE paired with my Makoplex.

I don't see why Fryette is charging anything for name plates. If I was him I'd send 'em out for free to anyone who wants to replace their VHT logo. I'd want my name on as much old VHT gear as possible if I were him...

I wonder how many people will take their old used VHT, sell it, but slap on the new logo and pass it off as a newer version. After all, it must be new with the new name on it....

Like taking "Rocktron" off the Egnater TOL's? lol

I don't know how many would with this though since it's clear no changes have been made to the amp whatsoever, plus the serial numbers are really straight forward. But who knows, there's always someone out there!

I personally like the VHT logo on my UL.

Yes, thank you for the free advertising. :)

I'm not sure I see the point. My VHT 2/50/2 is a VHT. That was the name of the company that made it. Plus, the new VHT doesn't make a 2/50/2 so there will be no mistaking who made mine.

I still think he should have changed the name from VHT to FYT

I agree. Doesn't make much sense. Then again, this whole name change didn't make much sense to me to begin with.

There is a long thread at TGP. The whole thing is about a loan that was not payed. This ended in someone else owning the name.
