I'm getting rid of the isp stealth that I use with my Kemper. Not loud enough live.

Will the Power Station be any better as far as volume? (50 watt tube vs 180 watt solid state.)

I'm looking at the Power station cause it is small and it'd serve other purposes too, replacing my hotplate etc...

Been really annoying lately...every live guy at small clubs in LA won't let me go direct with Kemper, they want all stage volume
sucks!

Yup. That's why I sold the ISP. To fund a Power Station. Sounds righteous.

Probably because if they fuck something up on the desk, you won't lose a stage instrument. If you DI everything & lose all sound through the PA, there aren't many people in the room to blame.
I suspect the fun of the job is the MICing & mixing.

I suspect not being able to DI a unit like that really pisses you off, given that it's one of its defining benefits.

Thanks guys, I'll sell the ISP and look for a PS

It is super annoying, cause I was fine with the stealth as my personal powered monitor
but not to fill a club, my going direct plan has backfired
