ENGL Special Edition Guitar Rack Preamp E570
$1200 shipped (not including payment fees)
Walmart2Walmart payment preferred
I ship same day, and if passed business hours, next business day
Near mint condition, but has some small scratches on the bottom (pictured) which happened when I took these pictures (doh!). Every in and out has been tested and everything works as it should. This thing has a crushing tone and is a modern tone machine!
It can get jangly clear cleans (Bright, Ultra Bright engaged), and or a fat spanky clean (M.L.P. enabled). If you like rock, this can do that as well (non-high gain and classic mode). Crunch city!! Want some Shoegaze (Modern Mode, Contour Active). If you want that djent sound, it gots it (Classic mode, Mid Edge, Countour Active M.L.P., High Gain). If you want brutal metal, easy, it won't even break a sweat (Modern mode, High Gain,
Contour Active). The only thing this won't do is sound bad, and there are no settings that will make it sound bad. This is a unique animal altogether, and with all its tone-shaping options, it really can do everything and kitchen sink!
I've owned a VHT/Fryette GP3 and was a bit disappointed with the lack of sustain. I Also owned the JMP-1, and it has a lot left to desire with the dynamics in the gain structure. The ENGL SE E570 does not disappoint in the sustains and or in gain
structure. This can fill any appetite and then some!
It has 4 channels, and each channel has two modes, Classic (my favorite) or Modern. Classic has more mids, as where Modern has more bottom and a sharp top end (I think a boost at 1500hz). It does sound like 8 different channels!!! No joke!!! Once you start messing with tone-shaping option: Bright, Ultra Bright (Channel 1 and 2), or with Contour Active, Mid Edge (Channel 3 and 4), you can dig into what kind of tone you're looking for!
This is the USA version, so just plug in and play! Will ship in the original packaging.

P.s. I tried to get the best pictures possible, but it turns out my phones camera is trash.
