VFE Focus. Has the same basic controls as the Standout, just not as much extreme range. But you can adjust the -6 or -12db for each of HPF and LPF separately.

Works very well and very flexible. For my needs, the Fortin 33 is just easier for me to deal with (though I can make the Focus sound essentially identical).

Would like to get $350 since that's about the going rate for a Fortin 33 and I need a second for another pedal board. If that's a crazy number just make me an offer. I don't know what these are worth.

They're worth $110-$120, probably.

For that I'd just keep it though. It sounds good, is much for flexible than the 33 and would be hard to find again if I wanted to back down the road.

I'm not looking to get rich from the pedal. Just let me know if you want it and we'll go from there.

Also, Fortin are making more 33 after some guy on youtube debunked it, it's just a Grind with extra 2db output, same EQ curve.

Good luck with the sale of the Focus. It’s a great pedal.

Yeah they sent out a notice in the mailing list saying they're making more about 2 weeks ago.

The comparison:

All the more reason I like the VFE Standout, Dragon and Focus. I had both the Grind and 33 and didn’t like them at all.

Thing that makes me nervous about the Fortin is that people originally swore the 33 and Grind sounded different and there have been revisions to them, so i don't know if they always were the same or they are the same now but were different and was it the Grind or 33 that changed or were people just imagining things when they thought they sounded different?

Ugh this stuff is exhausting for a hobby that is supposed to be fun.

On that note I'll just keep the Focus. I like it and don't know how easy t would be to replace and man this stuff is going to drive me bonkers.

Smart move. I like to keep stuff around. You never know when you will want/need it.
