parts gun...got it in a trade. will not function for shit. been a headache since I got it. final straw-put a cmmg .22 bolt in it and it just acted crazy...double feed...jam, double feed....jam....fuckin outta here.....checked everything...lubed good....just won't operate....
 
If it won't even cycle with a conversion kit, maybe the gas block or gas tube is suspect. Maybe the orientation is slightly off from the gas port, therefore not sending enough gas pressure back to cycle the bolt properly.

that's what I thought but my local guy said the .22 kit is blowback...he's convinced it's the trigger system...I'm gonna drop it off with some ammo and both bolts next week.
