I have that MDV 3. :cool:

FT took his brand and got the fuck out of CA after the cancel bullshit..
 
I like his stuff but the pricing now is just too much considering what is out there in competition now.

I think this will be a good collab.
 
Always wanted to try a Deja Vibe because I've heard good things and always seem to think I want a vibe.

Have had three different vibes, not including the Deja Vibe, and always sell them off.
I still kinda want to try the Deja Vibe though...

I had the Jam Retrovibe, Drybell Vibe Machine and the Earthquaker (forget the name)

I have the Dunlop unit on permanent loan to my old man and have tried the Deja vibe. The Dunlop was the better unit.

Mike's a jerk. He lost my business years ago when he chewed my ass over a repair issue on one of his units. I was buying his stuff when it was not carried by GC. That was about '98 or 99. Needed it fixed in the early 2000's and didn't realize he had moved to return authorization forms and I got a tongue lashing over nothing. Had the big box '70 fuzz, the Octafuzz, the Clyde I later had an OCD. I have thought about one of his Ranger treble boosts. I guess I forgive him.

I do respect him from standing up to the mob. I won't buy any of that ass eyes looking jerkoff from JHS pedals ever. A whole shit ton of companies will never get my money again. Anyone I see who donated to that bullshit will not receive funds from me so if thats you, up yours!!!!
 
So he said some shit online, had some issues because of it, threw a temper tantrum and fucked all his workers by closing up shop and moving across the country? Oh and alleged he couldn't afford to run the business but had money to buy a studio in Nashville and do nothing for four years? Yeah great guy, let me run right out and support that.

What version was your Drybell? V3 is actually really damn good. Much better than Deja Vibe IMO. It was too subtle.

Turn 50 in March and plan on buying a guitar to replace my sixth SG.

I have a phase 45, even thought its not a vibe, the sound does it for me.
Especially with the cost of vibes.
 
Great products but what has been said.. He's a jerk. Had an issue with my Terc. Spoke to his tech and guy was giving me an RMA number to check it out. Mike got involved and all of a sudden it was user error, it was operating normally..etc... escalated to the point where I told him to shove his products up his ass and I took it to my local tech. The line level switch was bad..ez fix. all is good. I should have never lost my temper like that but even his tech was telling me its not normal operation...etc. and he jumps in and starts with user error. How the fuck can you you even have a user error in that situation? Seems now his prices are too rich for me so I'm not missing anything I guess.

I don’t know about whatever happened, I’m sure it’s stupid, but this dude is such a motherfucking cocksucker regardless of whatever drama he likely rightfully deserved.

That said, OCD is still my favorite boost for a 2203, haha.

What is the issue with JHS? I don’t own any of his pedals and wasn’t planning to. Just curious.
 
I like Fulltone pedals for sure. Mike's BS online never really stopped me from buying any. I think he would have been better off just staying in the background and keeping his comments about his products. But maybe he needed to do all of this to get back to where he will be now? Who knows?
 
Fulltone has dominated my pedalboard for years, I'm currently down to just the Plimsoul though. When it came to light he was shutting doors I knew he'd be back in short order, why not cash in on that?

He's definitely got a reputation, but the man makes great stuff. All the piling-on bullshit (reverb especially) over his comments kinda surprised me, forbid a business owner have an opinion on businesses being looted without consequence. Ah well, I'll be a returning customer.
