thanks, but that guy annoys me and does not do great demos IMO. no big deal, i probably wont buy one anyway since im pretty set with OD pedals i have..just curious.

I have V1 and it's frickin awesome, I really like it, I dont think they needed to do the changes but whatever. I played a version 3 and I didnt like it nearly as much. Maybe the V4 is the shit.

V3 and V4 are the same. There was a thread on HC and the gear page that confirms this, it was a joke of some sort by the guys at Fulltone since everyone was hyping up the different versions....

Uh, no, incorrect. Straight from the horses mouth (Mike Fuller

OCD versions, the straight poop: OCD's are now version4 (we call 'em v1.4), have been out for since late 2007, anything serial # 16,061 and higher IS THE NEWEST VERSION regardless of cosmetics. For a well-done, intelligent overview of the OCD versions, go here:

Thanks for clearing this up. When I was checking it out a few months ago V4 was not on the Fulltone website. Just goes to show you can't believe everything you read on HC...

I've only owned V1 and V4, at separate times. I liked V1 a lot, but it was a bit too scooped and harsh sounding. To my memory, V4 fixes those issues. So I give a big thumbs up to V4. It replaced my Fetto, which was a kickass pedal.

I've got a V2 and V4, and I think they both kick ass. I set them up differently, but I haven't found a Pedal I like better in front of a Marshall.
