Funny what you used to think sounded good.

Part of it is just having the time, space and gear to figure things out which I have more of years latter. But man, some of my old shit sounded like shit!

I recorded this a long time ago, used 2 mics, different amps and recording stuff. I remixed it, did some other things, muted the second mic in favor for just the one and EQ'd it to how I hear things today..

This is still not what I think is the bomb, but it's way better than it was before.

My Gorilla Tube Cruncher ( all 3 of them ) does sound good. Or at least into my two 4x12's it does.

Funny thing is I thought they sounded terrible back in the 80's compared to my Peavey Audition 20.
One day I will own a Gorilla full stack!

I used to think my metalzone into a SS Yorkville amp sounded good. That was back in the late 90's when I only had access to shit gear and had only been playing few years. I dialed it in as good as I could. It's weird hearing that Sammy Duet used a metal zone for his distorted tone with Acid Bath back in the day.
